This year, nearly as many people registered for the NMT as last year
This year, 312,490 people registered for the National Multi-subject Test (NMT). This is only 18 less than in 2024, when 312,508 candidates applied for the NMT.
This was announced by Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“This year we have almost the same number of registered potential applicants, meaning people who have signed up for the NMT. The numbers are practically the same as last year,” he said.
According to Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, the slight difference of a few dozen people is not significant.
“Last year, 312,508 people registered to take the NMT. This year it’s 312,490. So that’s 18 less. When we’re talking about numbers like 312,000, it’s not even within the margin of statistical error – the numbers are practically identical. And they can still increase, because this is without the additional registration session,” he explained.
Mykhailo Vynnytskyi noted that the total number of registrants could grow in the coming days.
“In fact, we expect that soon there may be additional registrations for the NMT, which will take place literally during this week. And these numbers could increase,” added the Deputy Minister of Education.
