This season, Ukraine’s agricultural exports exceed last season’s result by over two million tons – Denys Marchuk
This season, Ukraine has managed to export over two million tons more agricultural products than last season. In total, more than 47 million tons of agricultural products have been exported so far.
Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“In comparison with last season, we exported about two million tons more this season. There’s still one more month – June – and we will see a figure of approximately 50 million tons of total exports. As of now more than 47 million tons of grain crops have been exported,” said Denys Marchuk.
Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe remain Ukraine’s major markets.
Denys Marchuk also emphasized that despite the fact that the markets have not changed, the struggle for them never ends, because russia is not only striking the territory of Ukraine with military means, but also trying to knock the country out of potential markets via economic means.
