There is a lack of state support for independent media in Ukraine, even when it is a matter of national security – Hromadske Radio

Ruslana Brianska, the executive director of Hromadske Radio, stated this at the Media Center Ukraine.

“There is no state support for independent media or regional editorial offices. As the executive director of Hromadske Radio, I must say that we are able to broadcast in the temporarily occupied territories because we have radio transmitters located in frontline areas. However, we receive no support from the state, even though this is a matter of national security,” she noted.
