The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has deployed the largest number of rescuers since the start of the full-scale invasion to address the aftermath of recent attacks
In response to enemy attacks on Ukrainian cities spanning three consecutive days, the SESU mobilized its largest force of rescuers since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. A total of 925 rescuers worked simultaneously across all affected locations.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, SESU spokesperson, announced this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“Over these three days, we likely deployed the highest number of rescuers in our history since Russia’s full-scale invasion began. The night of May 24–25, in particular, saw one of the largest combined drone and missile attacks. In response, 925 rescuers and over 200 units of specialized equipment, including firefighting, rescue, and technical gear, were deployed simultaneously,” Khorunzhyi said.
According to Khorunzhyi, more than 1,300 rescuers participated in mitigating the effects of enemy strikes between May 24 and 26.
