The scale of damage to generation facilities and power plants exceeds the extent of last years’ destruction – Volodymyr Kudrytskyi

The number of enemy attacks on energy facilities this year has already surpassed the combined number of attacks carried out by the enemy in the previous two years. Additionally, the scale of damage to energy facilities has also increased.

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of NEC Ukrenergo, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“The scale of attacks has already matched and even surpassed those of 2022 and 2023. This especially applies to the use of kamikaze drones, as our enemy has obviously increased their numbers many times over. Regrettably, the scale of damage is also comparable, and when it comes to generation and power plants, it has even surpassed the extent of last year’s damage,” he noted.
