The parliament must be united to settle political issues – O. Shuliak
During the war, Ukrainian parliamentarians work together and forget about internal strife. MPs passed more than twenty important laws at the last sitting. Olena Shuliak, chair of Sluha Narodu (Servant of the People) Party, told this during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center. The MP added that the parliament is currently preparing for the next sitting, where MPs are expected to work no less effectively and in a coordinated manner.
«Today we have almost forgotten what politics is, what a political struggle of different political factions or different parliamentary groups is. Attitudes toward politics must be secondary during the war. Instead, laws that affect the country’s defense capabilities and the fate of our citizens should be the priority.» – Olena Shuliak said.
