The number of Ukrainians returning from abroad increased in August – State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

Approximately 150,000 citizens cross the state border of Ukraine on weekends, and around 120,000 on weekdays. These figures account for movement in both directions.

Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, announced this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“In June, there was a trend of departure. In July, the situation was roughly 50/50. In August, we are observing a trend of citizens returning. The main categories crossing the border are women, children, and elderly people,” said Demchenko.
