The number of fires in ecosystems has decreased by 38% compared to last year 

Compared to the same period last year, the number of fires in ecosystems is on the decline. Serhiy Batechko, deputy head of the Department of Civil Protection and Preventive Activities at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, made this statement at the Ukraine Media Center. 

“Since the beginning of the year, there have been 14,200 fires in Ukraine, which is 38% fewer than during the same period last year,” he said.
