No provocative actions or unusual situations have been recorded on the border with belarus. The movement of equipment and personnel of the belarusian army units near the Ukrainian border has not been observed so far. However, such movements have been recorded inside belarus.

This was reported by Andrii Demchenko, spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Speaking specifically about the border line, all components of the Defense Forces of our country are in full control of the state border. We do not register any unusual situations or provocative actions directly on the border. Moreover, we do not register any movement of either equipment or personnel of the belarusian armed forces units in the immediate vicinity of our border,” Andrii Demchenko said.

At the same time, he noted that the movement of equipment and personnel within belarus is being recorded, but without any significant increase.

Demchenko stated: “There is some movement deeper into Belarusian territory that we can see – this includes both equipment and personnel. However, we are not observing a significant build-up. It should be pointed out that all this time belarus has maintained its units on the border with Ukraine, but they have not moved closer to our border.”
