The Ministry of Education and Science has made the admissions process clearer for applicants

The most significant change to the 2026 admissions campaign does not lie in the admissions rules. The admissions rules have only very minor differences compared to last year. Taking into account feedback from previous years regarding the difficulty of interpreting the admissions process, the Ministry of Education has updated the criteria.

Oleg Sharov, Director of the Directorate for Higher Education and Adult Education, spoke about this during a briefing at the Media Center. 

“Digitization, the ability to submit applications to multiple institutions, and online application submission—all of this has contributed to the development of an admissions process that is clear to applicants,” he said.
