The International Paralympic Committee showed terrible leniency towards Russian sports organizations – Valeriy Sushkevych

The International Paralympic Committee has shown great leniency towards russian sports organizations that were part of the teams competing at the Paralympics in Paris.

This was stated by Valeriy Sushkevych, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine, during a press conference at the Media Center Ukraine.

“The International Paralympic Committee has shown terrible leniency towards the representatives, the entities of russian sports, among those competing at the Paralympics in Paris. In my opinion, this is unacceptable leniency. I couldn’t keep silent and the day before the opening of the Paralympics I said to the President of the International Paralympic Committee during a difficult conversation: ‘You are provoking a situation where the International Paralympic Committee will become an accomplice to the terrible criminal acts that russia is committing on the territory of Ukraine’. It is well known that russia is using the International Paralympic Committee and the Paralympic Movement to promote war, and there are many facts to prove it,” Sushkevich said.
