“Soviet monuments can be melt down into artillery shells and “returned” to Russia,” – Ukrainian writer Irena Karpa
Objects of historical heritage of the Soviet and imperial era that do not have any ideological allusions can be left on their places or transferred to museums. This is the opinion expressed by Irena Karpa during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa
«Some should be demolished, some may be transferred to museums. And some should be melt down into artillery shells and “returned” to Russia. Decommunization is necessary. There are certain things that, apparently, have some artistic value, for example Soviet mosaics, that do not contain any ideology. Such objects can remain intact, but others must be reinterpreted», — Irena Karpa.
