Louvre to include audio guide in Ukrainian; over 50 museums of the world already have one — Minister of Culture Tkachenko
Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, returned from France, where an agreement was signed with the Louvre regarding adding audio guides in Ukrainian to the museum. The Minister spoke about this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“We signed an agreement with the Louvre to introduce audio guides in Ukrainian in one of the largest, if not the largest, museum in the world. I think it would be very appropriate. The Louvre is currently in the technical process of re-launching their own audio guides, they are quite outdated. This will allow you to get a quality end product. It will take some time, a lot depends on our colleagues. Such an audio guide (in Ukrainian) has been launched in Versailles, as well as in more than 50 museums of the world,” — Tkachenko said.
