State Emergency Service units have cleared over 200,000 hectares of land 

State Emergency Service units handle a wide range of demining tasks, from land-based demining to underwater demining. Currently, 2,400 State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians are working in Ukraine. 

Serhiy Reva, Director of the Department of Mine Action at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, spoke about this at the Ukraine Media Center. 

“State Emergency Service units have cleared nearly 200,000 hectares of territory and neutralized over 600,000 explosive devices. Every day, State Emergency Service specialists are engaged in both routine demining and emergency response,” he said.
