State Emergency Service pushes for new Ukrainian-made unmanned systems

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine’s Department for the Organization of Work and Use of Unmanned Systems and Robotics operates equipment from a range of manufacturers. Yet, officials say there remains a pressing need for new domestic technologies.

Ihor Hetalo, who leads the department, said at a Media Center Ukraine briefing.

“Our arsenal includes systems from different manufacturers, including European ones,” Hetalo said. “However, we are working to engage Ukrainian developers in creating these systems and are actively advancing in that direction.”
