Sowing campaign in certain regions of Ukraine is at risk due to mined fields – State Emergency Service of Ukraine Press Officer
Oleksandr Khorunzhyy, Press Officer of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine, informed during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center in Lviv that the sowing campaign in certain regions of Ukraine was at risk due to unexploded shells in the fields. According to him, the fields adjacent to the combat areas are full of explosives, including parts of missiles, shells, and grenades.
SES Press Officer urged farmers not to approach any discovered explosives and to call the emergency services immediately. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war, SES units have neutralized 12,000 munitions, including 398 air bombs.
