Slovakia has already announced the Ukraine border blockade movement – Yulia Klymenko

The situation with Polish truckers’ border protest has not changed. At the same time, it is known that Slovakia has also joined the blockade movement on the Ukraine border. 

Yulia Klymenko, Member of Parliament, First Deputy Head of the Transport & Infrastructure Committee at Verkhovna Rada made this report, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Four crossings (with Poland – Ed.) are blocked, and cargo carriers from other countries are threatening us with following the lead of their Polish peers, notably, Slovakia. They are to block the borders starting tomorrow, and there have already been border service reports telling me that protesters have started to block the country’s main border with this country,” Klymenko said.

We also recall that since November 6, Polish truckers have been blocking Ukrainian carriers at three Polish-Ukrainian border checkpoints: Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska, Korczowa-Krakivets, and Dorohusk-Yahodyn.

On November 23, it became known that the blockade was extended to the Medyka-Shehyni border crossing.
