Sevastopol Bay is the center of Russia’s operation to steal Ukrainian grain
Sevastopol Bay is the center of Russia’s operation to steal Ukrainian grain, from where Russian vessels transport grain to Syria, Iran, Lebanon, and other countries.
This was stated by Turkish geopolitical analyst Yoruk Isik during the Third Black Sea Security Conference.
“The most important and most disturbing issue is the industrial-scale theft of Ukrainian grain. This was planned even before the full-scale annexation of Crimea”.
According to the analyst, Russia’s activities are not limited to the Black Sea. Russian vessels operate in the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean Basin, and other regions, changing flags and names and using old ships to conceal their operations.
At the same time, Russia is strengthening its naval bases and building new vessels, which, according to the expert, creates additional risks for the Black Sea and complicates the restoration of Ukraine’s trade.
