SESU has quadrupled number of deminers since start of russian Invasion

Since the onset of russia’s full-scale aggression, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has substantially bolstered both the personnel and technical capabilities of its humanitarian demining units.

Serhii Reva, Head of the Department for Organizational Work on Humanitarian Demining at Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, shared the update during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“From the very beginning of the all-out invasion, recognizing the scope of the challenges ahead, we began increasing the number of our bomb disposal specialists,” Reva said. “We have now expanded our capacity nearly fourfold and continue to strengthen our units. We consistently provide them with equipment and, of course, the necessary training.”
