SES urges citizens to acquaint themselves with nearby shelter locations before attending Easter services

Prior to attending churches, it is necessary for individuals to be aware of the roster of nearby shelters.

Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, Press Officer for the State Emergency Service, emphasized the importance of this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

He stressed the necessity for individuals to be aware of the nearest shelter, accessible via the Diia app, in case of an emergency such as an air raid while attending religious gatherings.

“It’s crucial,” emphasized Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, “that before heading to a church, synagogue, or mosque, every citizen takes the time to know the nearest shelter location available through the Diia app. This ensures they can seek refuge if needed and weather any potential air raid.”
