Russians did not even have to obtain licenses to participate in the Paralympics; they received them for free – Vladislav Heraskevich
The International Olympic Committee is openly supporting Russia; Russians and Belarusians did not even have to obtain licenses to participate in the Paralympics. This was stated during a briefing by Vladislav Heraskevich, a Ukrainian skeleton racer.
“The IOC has found a way to sink even lower. Russians did not even have to obtain a license to participate in the Paralympics; they were simply given one. This is usually impossible. Over the past four years, none of these athletes have participated in international events. They simply received a quota for four years and are competing under their own flags. This is absurd, this is a farce,” said the athlete.
Vladislav Heraskevich added that Russia will not receive any sanctions, even for its own rights, which they were prohibited from using.
