russian drones are increasingly being found equipped with cluster munitions that explode unpredictably and uncontrollably, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) reported.

After recent russian drone attacks, SES specialists have begun detecting these cluster munitions at impact sites. Emergency responders are urging civilians to stay away from any suspicious objects and immediately call specialists for assistance.

The warning was issued during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine by Serhii Reva, head of the Department for Organizational Work on Humanitarian Demining at the Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

“Recently, we’ve started finding cluster munitions near russian drones that detonate on the ground in unpredictable ways, without any consistent timing,” Reva said. “You must be extremely cautious. If you come across anything resembling these munitions, call 101 and do not touch them.”

Reva also stressed that it is unsafe to come any closer than 100 meters to such objects.
