Oleksandr Motuzianyk, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Ukraine’s Armed Forces contain offensive actions by russian units that attempt to encircle our forces near Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk and block the logistics paths for suppliers from Bakhmut. At the Slovyansk axis, Ukraine’s Armed Forces successfully contained the foe’s offensive near the villages of Dolyna and Bohorodychne. At the Lyman axis, the foe refrained from active combat while shelling our positions in Maiaky and Serebrianka. At the Sievierodonetsk axis, our forces repel the enemy’s attacks within the city; the foe actively uses artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems and is in control of the center of Sievierodonetsk, where the high-intensity urban combat is going on,” the spokesperson for the Defense Ministry said.
