russian assault attempts persist in Ukraine’s Sumy region, Border Guard spokesperson says

russian forces continue probing for advances along Ukraine’s northern border in the Sumy region, though their overall activity has tapered off in recent days, according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.

Andrii Demchenko, the service’s spokesperson, told Media Center Ukraine at the briefing.

“The enemy’s activity and attempts to advance continue within the Khotin and Yunakivka communities in the Sumy region,” Demchenko said. “In Hrabivka, the enemy entered a settlement located on the border, but they were unable to advance further.”
