russia will push the “Dmitriev formula” during negotiations with the U.S., which does not suit the EU – Vadym Denysenko

Vadym Denysenko, head of the Dilova Stolytsia analytical center, predicts that during the upcoming U.S.-russia talks, the aggressor state will attempt to promote its own conflict-resolution framework – the so-called “Dmitriev formula”.

He stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“According to the ‘Dmitriev formula’ (proposed by the Kremlin representative Kirill Dmitriev who participated in past Ukraine talks – ed.), U.S. corporations would gain access to hydrocarbon and mineral extraction in northern russia. Simultaneously, trade hubs under U.S. branding would sell sanctioned russian goods in the EU and ‘unfriendly’ countries. This formula does not suit the EU and in its current form, it’s dead on arrival,” Denysenko concluded.

The analyst noted that the formula will likely be modified to accommodate the EU countries.
