russia uses various narratives concerning economic and social issues to put pressure on countries of the world

The consequences of the conflict in Ukraine are felt in the narratives that russia is spreading in the Middle East, particularly those concerning the U.S. double standards, as the russian-Ukrainian war ceased to be regional.

Christine Dugoin-Clément, Researcher Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Co-organiser, Paris Defence and Strategy Forum, made this statement during the Second Black Sea Security Conference.

“They (russia – Ed.) are jumping from one line to another with economical things, they are also using social issues. We all know that there are some interferences in the democratic process, which is quite important, when we are talking about the EU. At least it could slow down the decision-making and the time is running out,” said Christine Dugoin-Clément.

According to her, russia also uses its propaganda narratives in India, comparing the situation in Ukraine and Kashmir.
