russia does not have enough forces on the territory of belarus to threaten Ukraine – State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
russia does not currently have enough troops stationed in belarus to pose a threat to Ukraine.
This was emphasised by Andrii Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“All in all, the situation on the border with belarus is fundamentally different from the situation on the border with russia. We maintain full control over the entire length of the border. No unusual incidents or destabilizing actions have been observed along the border. We also do not see any movement of belarusian army equipment or personnel near our border. Moreover, it is important to note that russia currently does not have enough forces on belarusian territory to threaten our country,” Demchenko said.
