russia continues to violate the “energy ceasefire” – Yuriy Boyko

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine regularly records cases of violations of the energy ceasefire by the russian federation. All these incidents are reported daily through international institutions and organizations for further analysis, including to the American side.

Yuriy Boyko, advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo, emphasized this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“All precedents of violations of the so-called energy ceasefire by the russian federation are recorded daily by the Ministry of Energy and, accordingly, reported to the American side through international institutions and organizations for further analysis,” he noted.

According to Yuriy Boyko, despite numerous violations, the largest infrastructure facilities, such as NPC Ukrenergo, the gas transportation system, and major power plants, have not been targeted.

“At the same time, when we talk about the largest infrastructure facilities – whether it is NPC Ukrenergo, the gas transportation system, or the major power plants – we can say that these largest facilities are not being targeted. However, the active frontline infrastructure, including electricity, gas, etc., is being attacked indiscriminately,” he said.

It is worth recalling that on March 24, during technical negotiations in Saudi Arabia mediated by the United States, Ukraine and russia agreed on a 30-day ceasefire in the energy sector and the Black Sea.
