Roughly 30,000 tuition-paying students to receive state grants – Deputy Education Minister

Out of more than 65,000 students covering their own tuition costs this year, nearly half are expected to receive state-funded educational grants, according to Deputy Minister for Higher and Adult Education of Ukraine, Mychailo Wynnyckyj. 

“A large number of contract students will receive grants, we expect about 30,000 such grants,” Wynnyckyj said during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine. “More than half of this year’s entrants will receive state financial support for their education, through either state-based or individual grants.”
