Republic of Bulgaria together with G7 countries will provide Ukraine with security guarantees after the war – Bulgarian Defence Ministry

This was stated by Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria Todor Tagarev during a press conference at the Ukraine – Odesa Media Centre.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and help it repel Russian aggression. We fully support Ukraine’s right to return the territories that are recognised by law at the international level. That is why we join the G7 declaration on providing long-term security guarantees to Ukraine. This is another step towards further cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine in the defence, humanitarian and other areas.” 

Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov added that Bulgaria has also joined the EU programme to supply Ukraine with 155 mm artillery ammunition.
