Refat Chubarov: moscow skated away scot-free for the Holodomor and the Surgun, and that’s a big reason why russia waged war against Ukraine

Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, expressed his opinion during a discussion at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“Committing evil with impunity tends to have a nasty habit of coming back even worse, often with even more egregious wrongdoing. moscow’s apparent immunity, as the political epicenter of a regime responsible for atrocities like the Holodomor and the Surgun genocides, and mass deportations, is one of the major factors behind the ongoing war against Ukraine, which ignited in February-March 2014 and persists today,” Chubarov stated.
