Rada already working on mechanisms to restore destroyed cities — Oleksandr Korniyenko

The Ukrainian parliament is working on economic issues in close cooperation with the government, the First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniyenko said at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

«Back at the beginning of martial law Rada passed formidable customs and tax reforms. The conditions (of work) for the majority of businesses were simplified. We must understand that bringing in financial backing, including from our partners, largely depends on the Verkhovna Rada as well,» — he noted.

Oleksandr Korniyenko added that the mechanism to restore the destroyed cities was already being developed in Rada. «Before starting the restoration of the destroyed cities, we need to assess losses. It is necessary to understand that the strategy of economic recovery and reorientation is underway. Our European integration is one of the steps on this way.»
