Psychologists from Ukraine’s emergency service aid over 28,000 Kyiv residents amid ongoing war stress
In just 20 days of operation, mobile mental health support centers run by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have provided support to more than 28,000 residents of the capital.
Anastasiia Kuchynska, head of the SESU’s psychological service, shared the figures during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“Of those 28,000 requests for help, 7,000 came from children. Our psychologists are working on a rotational basis to maintain continuous coverage. We’ve also brought in cadet psychologists from the State Emergency Service, who are assisting under the close supervision of experienced senior specialists,” Kuchynska said.
