Project of “Unbroken” National Rehabilitation Center, which has no analogues in the world, to be presented in Lviv ACCREDITATION
The National Rehabilitation Center will treat 50 000 Ukrainians every year, first of all, those who were physically and mentally traumatized as a result of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Rehabilitation services will also be available to patients who need rehabilitation due to other injuries and illnesses.
The National Rehabilitation Center of Ukraine will be established within the First Medical Association of Lviv. It will provide quality physical, psychological, and psychosocial rehabilitation. Among other directions of the Center’s activities, there will be surgery, including reconstructive surgery, as well as orthopedics, and robotic prosthetics. The Center will not only install prostheses for Ukrainians affected by the war but will also manufacture them there. 3D printing of bone implants is also expected.
The project of the National Rehabilitation Center will be presented by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko. The presentation will be held in the framework of the “UNBROKEN” Donors’ Forum, which will take place on June 10 іn Lviv. Information about the Forum’s venue will be announced soon after the accreditation.
