President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks predicts year-end inflation levels

According to various organizations, inflation rates in Ukraine may double by the end of the year compared to current levels.

Andriy Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Now let’s consider the currently growing inflation in Ukraine, because it has a cumulative effect. Today it (the inflation – Ed.) stands at 4.8% as of June. By the end of the year, various organizations predict about 8%, 9%, 10%. Inflation can reach this range,” he said.
