
Physical and mental reboot: Ukrainians increasingly seek meaningful leisure activities
After two years of deferred plans, Ukrainians are becoming more proactive in organizing their leisure time, opting for vacations that offer both physical and emotional recovery.
This trend was highlighted by Natalia Tabaka, head of the State Agency for Tourism Development, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“Tour operators are reporting this shift, and we’re observing a growing need for restorative breaks – to maintain productivity, continue learning, and simply cope. The demand for vacations was put on hold during the first two years of full-scale war. Now, people feel an urgency to fulfill this pent-up need for rest and reset. They’re consciously choosing options with deeper value – getaways that nourish the mind, health, and physical well-being,” Tabaka explained.
