Parliament to consider issues related to country’s European future in Fall
The parliament’s plans in the Fall, particularly, relate to consideration of issues connected to the country’s European future.
Oleksandr Korniyenko, First Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this statement during “Redkolegia. Summit” event organized by Media Center Ukraine and UNIT. City.
“Regarding the agenda for the fall, it is now the European agenda. And until we manage to start the accession negotiations, it (our work – Ed.) will mainly concern the seven promises and further work on the errors in those seven promises or some additional positions. Here, the parliament is precisely expressing the will of Ukrainians, 87% are in favor of joining the EU, and we will simply do everything to make it count for us, to open negotiations so that there are no questions to the parliament in this regard,” Oleksandr Korniyenko explained.
