Over 90% of citizens believe that Crimea should be de-occupied – survey results
The vast majority of Ukrainians believe that Crimea should be de-occupied, while at the same time understanding that this may not happen quickly.
This was stated by Anton Hrushetskyi, executive director of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, during a presentation at the Media Centre Ukraine.
“More than 90% believe that Crimea should be de-occupied. People agree that this may not happen quickly. Again, on the question of the legitimacy of the occupation – 10 years have passed, and Ukrainians do not consider the occupation legitimate. People are ready to wait, they believe that it may take a little more time, but we will get our people and our territory back,’ Hrushetskyi said.
