Viktor Yelensky, Head of the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“In April, more than 80 communities transferred from the moscow patriarchate to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Of course, the charters of these communities have not been amended yet, because this is a time-consuming process. More importantly, this process is ongoing. And, in my opinion, it is not happening like an avalanche but dynamically.”
