Over 70 Ukrainian oil depots targeted by russian attacks since the beginning of the full-scale invasion – Serhii Kuiun

Ukraine’s fuel market remains under constant threat from russian aggression, which is causing serious damage to the country’s infrastructure and economy. Military risks are currently the main challenge for the market.

This assessment was shared by fuel market expert Serhii Kuiun during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“There’s one major challenge – military risks. Over 70 oil depots and almost all oil refineries have been attacked by russians. These attacks continue relentlessly – just a few weeks ago a major terminal in Odesa was hit, resulting in significant fuel losses. We’re talking about millions of dollars of damage. Unfortunately, this ‘hunting campaign’ continues. As a result, many companies have stopped using oil depots altogether to minimize the risk of catastrophic losses, as these attacks are a devastating blow to the economy,” Kuiun explained.
