Over 37 social services now available to Ukrainians online – Kostiantyn Koshelenko

Ukrainians can now access more than 37 social services online, without having to visit the institutions in person at the place of their registration.

This was announced by Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“It is now possible to apply for social services and benefits online. Previously, this could only be done in person and only at the place of registration. Now, for example, social services are available at soc.gov.ua. This is a social portal, a resource where we aim to bring together in one place all the support that a person already receives, will receive, or is entitled to receive. We started with social services that were not digitized in the country before. Now it’s possible to apply for over 37 social services online through this portal,” he explained.

In particular, 17 social benefits have already been digitized and are available both within the system and on the Diia portal.

Kostiantyn Koshelenko added that the social portal with accessible services for citizens will be further developed and enriched with useful information.
