Over 300,000 people have registered to take the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) – Ministry of Education

Admissions rules are developed well in advance of the admissions campaign. This year’s campaign has already begun. The Ministry of Education hopes that in 2026, the admissions campaign will match last year’s figures.

Oleg Sharov, Director of the Directorate for Higher and Adult Education, said this during a briefing at the Media Center. 

“Last week, about 305,000 applicants confirmed the creation of an Electronic Account for the National Multidisciplinary Test. Registration ends on April 2. For comparison, last year there were 311 electronic accounts. We expect the number of participants to be the same this year,” he noted. 

According to the official, no one is downplaying the importance of higher education, but at present Ukraine most urgently needs students for vocational education institutions.
