Over 20 ships to pass through new “corridor” in Black Sea

Currently, three ships are sailing out of Ukrainian ports.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, Spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“As of now, there are three vessels leaving our Ukrainian ports. In total, there are 12 (vessels – Ed.) in the west of the new “corridor”, 10 about to exit, and we need to add the three that are currently sailing out,” said Dmytro Pletenchuk.

As reported in August of this year, a temporary sea “corridor” was put into operation. It was created primarily for the evacuation of ships that had been stuck in the Ukrainian ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa and Pivdennyi since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion.
