Over 176,000 applicants enroll in Ukrainian universities this year — Ministry of Education
This year, Ukrainian universities will admit approximately 40% state-funded students and 60% contract-based students.
Mychailo Wynnyckyj, Deputy Minister for Higher and Adult Education of Ukraine, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“The key message of this year’s admissions campaign is stability. As of today, 176,300 applicants have received admission offers — 65,493 for state-funded spots and 110,883 for contract-based study,” he said.
Approximately 20,000 applicants did not secure admission to any of their priority programs. However, they will have another opportunity to enroll on a contract basis during the next admissions phase after August 11.
