OPORA Study: Veterans in Ukraine struggle to return to their own business or highly skilled work

Many Ukrainian veterans face significant challenges reintegrating into the labor market, with most offered only less specialized roles. Despite often holding higher education degrees and possessing strong professional skills, they are unable to fully apply their expertise.

The conceptual framework of the study was developed by OPORA’s research team, while the polling was carried out by the Rating Sociological Group. The survey polled 2,400 respondents with 2,200 Ukrainians living in government-controlled areas of the country and 400 currently residing abroad.
