Only three oblasts in Ukraine offer any assistance to civilians freed from detention – study results

The non-governmental organization, the Association of Relatives of Political Prisoners of the Kremlin, conducted a study to determine which regions have support programs for civilians released from russian captivity.

Svitlana Odintsova, legal analyst at the Association of Relatives of Political Prisoners of the Kremlin, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“The Odesa oblast has created a housing fund with 28 apartments for accommodation, 53 social apartments, and six houses. The Zaporizhia oblast provides a one-time payment of 50,000 hryvnia to those released. And in the Zhytomyr Oblast, premises have been designated for temporary housing,” Odintsova noted.
