“One Shot of the Ukrainian Artillery Is Outmatched by Six or More Shots of the Foe,” Ministry of Defense

Oleksandr Motuzianyk, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Despite huge personnel and equipment losses, the invaders have more weapons than Ukraine’s defenders, trying to win by quantity only. In some areas, one shot fired by the Ukrainian artillery is outmatched by six or more shots fired by the enemy. However, the efficiency of the russian infantry units remains low, especially in the cities,” he said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the foe at this stage has focused on reaching the administrative boundaries of Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, maintaining a land bridge to the occupied Crimean Peninsula, and blocking Ukraine’s shipping routes in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
