Occupation authorities in Crimea have issued around 12,000 court orders for forced deportation – Prosecutor’s Office
Residents of Crimea who have been forcibly deported by the occupation authorities are unaware that they have been victims of a war crime.
Vitalii Sekretar, First Deputy Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, made this statement at the Media Center Ukraine.
“In Ukraine, approximately 55,000 internally displaced persons from Crimea are registered. Many people did not receive this status, and about 28,000 have refused it. When we began to study the methods russia is using to deport people from Crimea, we found that the occupation authorities had issued around 12,000 court rulings on these grounds,” he emphasized.
