No searches conducted at the NHSU – Natalia Husak

Natalia Husak, head of the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU), commented on the statement from the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the embezzlement of funds intended for critically ill patients in hospitals, stating that no searches have been conducted at the NHSU so far.

“No searches have been conducted at the National Health Service of Ukraine. In general, news of criminal proceedings initiated against healthcare providers is routine for us. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies,” Husak emphasized during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

She stressed that, from 2024 to 2025, the NHSU referred materials on 70 healthcare providers to law enforcement agencies when the Service’s own authority to intervene had been exhausted and required law enforcement involvement.
