Nearly a thousand people injured by explosive ordnance in Ukraine — State Emergency Service

The number of casualties from explosive ordnance continues to rise daily, with the Kharkiv oblast remaining the most contaminated area.

Serhii Reva, head of the Department for Organizational Work on Humanitarian Demining at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, reported this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“As of today, approximately 957 incidents involving explosive ordnance have been recorded since the start of the full-scale invasion. The highest number of incidents has occurred in the Kharkiv oblast — 427 cases — as this oblast is currently the most contaminated. This is followed by the Sumy oblast and then the Kherson oblast,” he said.
